Prostrate herbs, woody at the base. Leaf imparipinnately compound, leaflets entire, stipules foliaceous. Inflorescence a 1-3-flowered peduncled, axillary raceme or umbelloid. Calyx obliquely attached to the pedicel, bilabiate, upper tip composed of 2 fused sepals, lower lip trifid. Vexillum externally pubescent, longer than the keel and the wing. Stamens diadelphous, 9+1, vexillary stamen free, anthers uniform. Ovary sessile, many-ovuled, pubescent, stigma capitate. Fruit eglandular, oblong-linear, continuous inside.
A genus with about 20 species, mainly Central Asian in distribution, represented in Pakistan by 5 species.
