Small tufted, grass-like plants with long scapes. Flowers erect, white-lavender, small, numerous. Perianth segments 6: stamens 6; ovary superior, tricarpellary, locules 2-ovuled; style columnar. Fruit capsular, walls thin, seeds fleshy.
A small genus of 6 East Asian species. Represented in Pakistan by 1 species.
