Evergreen shrubs; branches densely tomentose. Leaves opposite, ovate-oblong to lanceolate. Flowers bracteate, yellow, tomentose outside, in large terminal panicles. Calyx campanulate, 4-5-lobed. Corolla tubular, 4-5-lobed. Stamens inserted on the corolla-tube. Ovary 2-4-locular. Fruit a berry.
A genus of 6 species, represented in Pakistan by 1 species.
