Annual herb. Leaf imparipinnate, leaflets entire, stipules small. Inflorescence an axillary or terminal pedunculate 4-8-flowered umbel. Calyx gamosepalous, bilabiate. Corolla yellow, keel beaked. Stamens diadelphous, 9+1. Fruit laterally compressed, indehiscent, beaked, with thickened margins.
A monotypic genus, distributed in S. Europe, Asia.
