Deciduous trees. Leaves alternate, imparipinnate, exstipulate. Flowers in terminal panicles, small. Calyx 4-5-lobed, deciduous. Petals 4-5. Stamens 8-10, inserted below the disk. Ovary 4-5-locular; styles (3-)4-5), Fruit a fleshy drupe.
A genus of 10-12 species, Indo-Malayan, S.E. Asia and tropical America. Represented in Pakistan by 1 species.
