Malcolmia trichocarpa Boiss. & BuhseStrigosella trichocarpa (Boiss. & Buhse) Botsch.
Very similar to the type variety but siliquae usually narrow, c. 1 (-1.5) mm broad, often torulose, ciliately hairy with spreading, setaceous hairs and stigma short, subconical.
Type: N. Iran, in deserts, Buhse (LE).
Distribution: Same as that of the type race.
It seems rare in our area. Some gatherings cited under the type variety, are no doubt, intermediate between the two varieties.
