Twining herb, stem pubescent, hairs spreading. Leaf trifoliolate, petiole 2-6.5 cm long, leaflets 1.3-6.5 cm long, 0.7-5 cm broad, ovate-oblong, subobtuse to slightly emarginate, glabrous to sparsely pilose above, pilose below; petiolule 1-4 mm long; stipule 2-5 mm long. Raceme 2-4 (-15) cm long, peduncle 2-6 cm long. Pedicel 2 mm long; bracts c. 2 mm long; bracteoles 1-2 mm long. Calyx 7-8 mm long, pubescent, mouth obliquely truncate. Vexillum 1.2-1.7 cm long. Fruit 2.5-4 cm long, 8 mm broad, linear, velvety, torulose, 3-4-seeded.
