Small herb, c. 10-11cm long. Bulb 1-1.5 cm broad, ovoid; tunics hairy at the top and on the inner side. Stem glabrous. Leaves 2-4, alternate or subopposite, 2.5-10 x 0.4-2.0 cm, linear-lanceolate, margin undulate. Flower solitary terminal, campanulate; peduncle 2-7 cm long, glabrous. Tepals pale yellow inside, violet outside, 1.5-1.8 x 0.6-0.8 cm, oblong, outer acuminate, inner acute. Filaments 4-8 x 0.1-0.2 cm, glabrous; anthers 5-7 mm long. Ovary sessile, 5-8 x 0.2-0.3 mm. Style 2-3 mm long; stigma trilobed, truncat.
