Corydalis cornuta Royle, Illustr. Bot. Himal. 69. 1839. Hook. f., l.c. 126; Collett, l.c. 26, fig. 9; Blatter, l.c. 3l.

Closely allied to the following species, Corydalis stewartii Fedde, but fruits oblong obovate, 10-12 (-14) mm long, 2.5-3.5 mm broad, and leaf segments somewhat prolonged towards the apex of leaves.

Type: N. W. Himalaya (Kashmir?), Choor mts., Royle (LIV, K).

Royle’s type specimen was perhaps from Kashmir and it has been recorded from Kashmir by Hooker F. (based on Thomson's collection) in his Flora of British India (1:126. 1872), and Blatter (l.c.), but I have not seen any authentic specimen of this species from our area (incl. Kashmir). However, it is very common in N. W. Himalaya (Simla, Lahul, Chamba, etc.,) and there is every possibility of its occurrence in our area also.

Corydalis cornuta var. meeboldii Fedde, recorded from our area, is probably conspecific with Corydalis stewartii Fedde, with a little broader fruits, which are variable.
