Shrubby perennial, stem erect, pubescent. Leaf trifoliolate, leaflets 1-2.5 cm long, 5-15 mm broad, elliptic to ovate, denticulate, stipules large, foliaceous. Inflorescence a terminal raceme, flowers borne in pairs at each node. Calyx 8-12 mm long, teeth exceeding the tube. Corolla pink. Vexillum 10-20 mm long. Fruit 6-9 mm long, 1-3-seeded.
