Twiner with slender branches with a line of hairs running along the inter-node. Leaves 7.5-12.5 cm x 1.2-2.5 cm, oblong-lanceolate, deeply cordate, minutely pubescent on both sides, pale on the under surface. Flowers in pedunculate cymes arising at nodes; peduncle c. 7.5 mm long, puberulous. Pedicel c. 8-9 mm long, puberulous. Bract c. 1.5 mm long, linear. Calyx 1.5 mm long, lobes ovate, almost reaching the base, pubescent, particularly on the margin. Corolla c. 5 mm long, lobes almost reaching the base, oblong, glabrous, becoming reflexed. Corona campanulate, 5-10 toothed, c. 4 mm long, with 5 small scales near the base within. Follicles 10 cm x 1.2-1.3 cm, smooth pointed. Seeds 7-8 mm long, oval, compressed, pale brown, marginal wing broad. Coma 3.7-3.8 cm long.

Distribution: Pakistan (Hazara); India (Simla to Kumaon).
