Erythrina suberosa var. glabrescens Praia
Tree, reaching 15-20 m in height. Leaf trifoliolate, leaflets 7.5-15 cm long, and broad, sometimes broader than long, glabrous to sub-glabrous on both the surfaces when mature. Vexillum 4-5 cm long, 2-2.5 cm broad, scarlet. Fruit stipitate, 12.5-15.0 cm long, torulose, 2-5-seeded, somewhat more flattened than in Erythrina suberosa.

Distribution: Pakistan; India, (from Ravi valley eastward to Sikkim): Burma.
