I.C. Hedge
Similar in habit and facies to the preceding species but with a dense white-lanate indumentum on all parts and with antrorse or spreading stem hairs.
Fl. Per.: August-September.
Type: "Flab. in Kamaon, Sirmore et in valle Dhoon dicta".
Distribution: Kashmir to Sikkim, India, China.
I have seen only inadequate specimens of this species in our region. Kaul (l.c.) records it as an occasional weed of apple orchards in Kashmir. Field observations are needed to determine whether it intergrades with Leucas mollissima.
