Erect shrub, branches tomentose, hairs greyish. Leaf trifoliolate, petiole 1.2-3.8 cm long; leaflet 2.0-7.5 cm long, 1.0-4.5 cm broad, rhomboid-ovate-lanceolate to suborbicular, minutely pubescent above, tomentose and gland-dotted below; petiolule up to 2.5 mm long; stipules minute. Inflorescence a dense axillary raceme, 2.5-7.5 cm long. Bracts c. 3.5 mm long. Pedicel 2.5-5.0 mm long. Calyx c. 7.5 mm long, densely tomentose, teeth subequal, equal or longer than the tube. Vexillum 12-15 mm long, externally pubescent. Fruit 2.5 cm long, 7-10 mm broad, tomentose, 1-2 seeded.

Distribution: Pakistan; Kashmir; India (N.Punjab, Kumaon, Garhwal).
