Perennial, caespitose herbs, subhairy below and glabrous above. Pedicel up to 5 mm long, subspreading. Petals 1.5-2 mm broad, apex conspicuously emar¬ginate, yellowish-white. Ovary 8-ovuled only.

Distribution: Endemic.

Differs from the type race by its pale yellowish or yellowish-white flowers with narrow petals, conspicuously emarginate at apex and shorter pedicels.
