Berberis kunawurensis forma chitrioides Jafri, forma nov..
A forma typica infructescentiis laxis, subpedunculis 7-12 mm longis, puberulis vel glabris, pedicellis 5-8 mm longis, puberulis vel subglabris differt. This specimen, somewhat different from those cited above, is described as a new form of this species. Differs from the type form by its somewhat lax panicle, subpeduncles 8-12 mm long, and pedicels 5-8 mm long, puberulous to subglabrous.
Type: B-7 Hazara Dist.: Sharan, kail forests, south aspect, 14. VIII. 1971, Bashir Khan s.n. (KUH).
