Erect, up to 60 cm tall undershrub. Profusely branched. Branches entangled with each other, stiff stellate hairy, bristly to touch. Leaves ovate, 10-25 mm long, 7-20 mm broad. Flowers solitary; pedicel usually 3-10 mm long.

Holotype: Habitat in rupestribus peninsulae sin aiticae Aucher-Eloy 855 (G-Boiss.!).

Distribution: Tropical Africa, Arabia, India and Pakistan.
