Lavatera cachemiriana var. haroonii S.Abedin in Pak. J. Bot. 9 (7). 1977.
It differs from var. cachemiriana by having sparsely simple and fasciculate 2-3 rayed hairs on the upper surface of leaf. In var. cachemiriana the hairs are densely stellate on the upper surface of leaves.
Holotype: Hazara Dist., Kala Bagh, 2 miles from Nathiagali on way to Abbottabad, 40 cms tall, firs, lilac S.Abedin 7660 (KUH).
Distribution: Enolemic to Pakistan.
