Prostrate or decumbent shrub. Branches short ending in short spines, young branches minutely hairy, older branches somewhat white, leaves 5-20 mm x 4-8 mm, fascicled on dwarf shoots, obovate-oblong spathulate, attenuate base, shortly tomentose on both surfaces, obtuse or subacute, retuse, entire, lateral nerves obscure, petiole 2-3 mm long. Flowers few in axillary clusters, pedicel 3-4 mm long, hairy, Calyx lobes triangular, petals minute, subulate. Disc velutinous. Fruit in aggregates of 2-4, obovate to globose, 3-4 mm long subdidymous, 2-3 seeded. Seeds glabrous.
Holotype: In rupibus montis, Perezend, Persia australis Aucher-Eloy 4318 (G).
Distribution: Pakistan (Baluchistan), Iran.
