A small shrub with trifoliolate leaves. Rachis winged. Leaflets lanceolate, 32-90 x 7-18 mm, glabrous. Panicles shorter than or equalling the leaves, both axillary and terminal.

A native of S. Africa. Sparingly cultivated in gardens of the Punjab.
