Vincetoxicum petrense (Hemsley & Lace) Rech. f.
Perennial undershrub, 8-22 cm tall, with many branches from the base, pubescent. Leaf 10-25 cm x 3-10 mm, ovate-linear, base truncate to cordate, entire, acute to acuminate, puberulous. Petiole 5-6 mm long. Flowers in pedunculate cyme. Peduncle upto 4 cm long. Pedicel 2-7 mm long, puberulous. Calyx 2-2.5 mm long, lobes triangular-lanceolate. Corolla c. 6 mm in diameter, lobes ovate-lanceolate, puberulous on the inner side. Corona lobes columnar, obtuse. Fruit not seen.
Syntypes: Baluchistan, not uncommon on rocks in upper Baluchistan, Stocks 920 (K); in stony places, Shamack, Kurram valley, Aitchison 44 (K); Pil Hill, J. H. Lace 3825 (K, E).
Distribution: Pakistan (Kurram Valley, Quetta).
