Type: Afghanistan, Nuristan: Voma to Trokikorl, Kitamum s.n. (KYO).
Distribution of variety: E. Afghanistan, Pakistan.
In addition to the indumentum difference, this variety has generally narrow oblong leaves with serrate-serrulate margins in contrast to the broad oblong deeply senate leaves of the following variety.
