Low scrambling perennial herb. Stem smooth, quadrangular, shiny. Leaves smooth, in whorls of 6-8, c. 15 x 1-2.0 mm, narrow, almost falcate, with thickish margins and acuminate apex, strongly connate beneath, revolute. Pedicel 3-5 mm, always longer than corolla. Inflorescence an axillary cyme. Corolla tetramerous, purplish, infundibuliform; lobes ovate-lanceolate, c. 2.0 x 0.5-0.75 mm, acuminate. Stamens exserted, shorter than corolla lobes. Mericarps thinly beset with somewhat curved setose hairs.

Distribution: Pakistan, Hazara, (endemic).
Close to Galium acutum Edgew. but differing in its narrow leaves with thickish margins, conspicuously elongated pedicels and hairy mericarps.
