Watercolor by Mary Mendum. This often epiphytic species is distributed in southern Yunnan Province in China and Lao Cai Province in northern Vietnam. The artist, who died on 13 February 2004, was a taxonomist and botanical artist at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
