Varieties 3 (3 in the flora): w United States.

Three varieties of Cycladenia humilis are recognized based on morphological features and geographic distribution; however, two unpublished studies (M. P. Last 2009; H. K. Brabazon 2015) have noted inconsistencies between the morphological and genetic data and suggest a need for further study.
