Lewisia alba Kellogg

Basal leaf blades linear, subterete, not grooved adaxially. Flowers: sepals 15-25 mm; petals 18-35 mm; stamens 30-50; pedicel 10-15(-30) mm.

Flowering early spring-early summer, depending on elevation. Open places in gravelly to rocky substrates; 60-1900 m; Alta., B.C.; Ariz., Calif., Colo., Idaho, Mont., Nev., Oreg., Utah, Wash., Wyo.
