肉果蘭屬
Erect fleshy saprophytes with short rhizomes. Roots fleshy. Stems several from each rhizome, usually brownish, with scales at nodes. Racemes terminal, rachis pubescent. Flowers few to many, perianth widely opening; with abscission layer between perianth and ovary; sepals and petals similar, free, more or less connivent; lip concave, sessile at base of column, entire, spurless, base loosely embracing column; column stout, somewhat curved, dilated at apex; anther terminal, incumbent, 2-celled; pollinia 2, soft granular, without caudicle or viscidium; stigma transversely broadened. Fruit succulent, usually reddish, indehiscent. Seeds with thick coat, wingless or nearly so.
Five species, from Sri Lanka through southeastern and eastern Asia to Indonesia. One species in Taiwan.
