偽木荔枝屬
Shrubs. Leaves chartaceous, entire, united by a stipular line. Flowers in axillary cymes; calyx campanulate, 8-lobed; corolla short tubular or rotate, 5-lobed; stamens 5, inserted on corolla tube, anthers sessile; ovary ovoid, 2-celled, stigma capitate; ovules numerous in each cell. Fruit a 1- or 2-celled berry; seeds mumerous.
About 20 species, southern Asia, Australia and Pacific islands. One species in Taiwan.
