偽木荔枝
Geniostema glabra Matsum.
Glabrous shrubs. Leaves chataceous, oblong to ovate, 7-10 cm long, 3.5-5 cm broad, obtuse to obtusely acuminate, base obtuse, margins entire, surfaces nearly concolored, costa slightly impressed above, raised beneath, lateral veins about 5 per side, slightly distinct on both surfaces; petioles 8-10 mm long. Inflorescences in axillary cymes ca. 10 mm long, peduncles ca. 5 mm long, mostly 3-flowered, pedicels 3-5 mm long, bracts and bracteoles ovate, less than 1 mm long; calyx ca. 2 mm long, the lobes 5, ovate, cilliate at the margins; corolla ca. 3.5 cm long, vilose within, lobes 5, ca. 1.5 mm long and broad; anthers sessile; ovary ovoid.
