    This varity differs from var. minor in its heads larger radiate (1.5-3 cm across) and ray florets, ray florets 5 or 6, corolla white, rarely pinkish in the vein, 0.5-1.5 cm long.

    Probably native of the United State, now a common weed in North and South America, north Africa and south Asia. Taiwan, an aggressive weed in lowland throughout the island.

    Bidens pilosa var. radiata invaded Taiwan and became rampant only in the past two decades.
