Chrysanthemum indicum L.
Plants with creeping rhizomes. Stems leafy, slightly decumbent with deciduous soft dorsifixed pubescence. Median cauline leaves chartaceous, petiolate, ovate-oblong, 3-5×2.5-4 cm, slightly cordate to truncate and abruptly narrowed at base, falsely stipulate, petioles 1-2 cm long, pinnately cleft, terminal lobe largest, obtuse, lateral lobes of 2 pairs, elliptic to oblong, acute or obtuse, sometimes denticulate, with a narrow or rather broad sinus between lobes, short-pubescent above, with soft dorsifixed pubescence beneath. Heads about 2.5 cm across, in loose terminal corymbs, peduncles slender; involucres hemispheric, 5-6 mm long, bracts 4-seriate, outer small, oblong or ovate, inner shorter than median, elliptic or oblong. Ray florets: corolla yellow, 11-13 mm long, 2.5-3 mm wide. Disc florets: corolla yellow, 3 mm long, 5-fid. Achenes about 1.8 mm long, slightly curved, 5-grooved.
