Satyrium repens L.
Herbs probably epiphytic. Stems creeping below, ascending above, 3.5 cm tall, with rosette leaves. Leaves elliptic, acute at apex, cuneate at base, 1.2-2 cm long, 7-15 mm wide, dark green, with irregular white lines or patches on upper surface. Peduncle up to 8 cm long, hairy, with 3-4 sheaths; rachis 4 cm long, 5-15-flowered; bracts lanceolate, 6 mm long. Flowers, white, tinged with green, nearly glabrous; ovary 4 mm long, hairy; sepals nearly glabrous, dorsal one ovate to elliptic, 3-4 mm long, slightly concave, lateral ones obliquely ovate, 4 mm long; petals obliquely spatulate, 3-3.5 mm long; lip triangular-ovate, 3.3-3.8 mm long, saccate at base, glabrous within, limb beak-shaped, 1.5-2 mm long; column 1-1.5 mm long.

Widespread in circumpolar temperate regions and subtropical mountains. Taiwan, in broad-leaved or coniferous forests at 1,500-2,800 m elevations.
