    Perennial herbs with short tufted stolons; stems erect, scapiform, 10-30 cm long, naked or leaf 1. Radical leaves many, broadly linear, 8-15 × 0.3-0.5 cm, apex acute to acuminate, base narrowed, short, petiole-like, margins usually entire or sometimes slightly mucronulate. Heads few to many, pedicellate, 12-30 mm across, pale yellow, florets 25-30. Involucre 9-10 mm long, outer bracts somewhat unequal, inner bracts ca. 10. Achenes lanceolate, ca. 3 mm long; beak as long as body. Pappus white, ca. 5-6 mm long.

    HUALIEN: Mukuahsi, Peng 15421. TAITUNG: Tawu, Hsu 3414; Chihpen, Koyama et al. 6723.

    Korea and Japan. Taiwan, rocky river banks in the eastern part, not common.
