Flowers very large, up to 4-5 cm long, with bright violet-blue corolla. V - early spring to late autumn. Basal leaves persist during the winter. Fl - early summer, abundantly for three weeks with a few flowers appearing sporadically in later months. Fr - a month later. P - by seed.
