Elaeocarpus brachyphyllus (Merrill) Kunth.
Leaf blade narrowly oblong, 4-7 cm, lateral veins 10 per side.
● Moist places, streamsides. N and W Hainan.
One of us (Chamlong Phengklai) believes that this is not significantly different from the typical variety.
