凹脉杜茎山 ao mai du jing shan
Shrubs 3-4 m tall. Branchlets terete, white pilose-tomentulose, glabrescent, striate; pith solid. Petiole canaliculate, 5-10 mm, minutely punctate; leaf blade narrowly lanceolate or lanceolate, 10-18 × 1.7-4 cm, leathery, glabrous, base cuneate or obtuse, densely and minutely punctate, margin serrulate, apex caudate-acuminate; lateral veins 9-15 on each side of midrib, connected by submarginal vein 1-2 mm from margin. Inflorescences axillary, 1- or 2-branched at base, racemose or paniculate, 2-3 cm, puberulent; bracteoles ovate. Corolla ca. 2 mm; lobes elliptic-oblong, longer than tube, glabrous, orange punctate-lineate, margin crenulate, apex subobtuse. Stamens inserted on tube, somewhat exserted. Fruit ovoid, ca. 5mm in diam., prominently orange punctate-lineate; persistent calyx lobes broadly triangular, auriculate at base, ciliate, orange punctate-lineate, closed at fruit apex. Fr. Aug-Sep.
