Branchlets and inflorescence rachis densely pilose. Leaf blade elliptic to lanceolate; veins not sunk adaxially, usually densely rusty pilose abaxially. Panicles terminal, leafy at base. Calyx glabrous. Fl. Apr-May, fr. Aug-Nov.
* Thickets on slopes; 400-1200 m. Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan.
