Plants usually gray pubescent throughout. Roots thickened, to 10 X 0.8 cm in diam. Basal leaves ca. 2 cm X 8 mm; segments ovate to oblong. Inflorescence axis, bracts, and calyx without deep purple hairs. Corolla 1.7--1.9 cm; galea slightly shorter than to as long as lower lip, 5--6 mm.
