郁李(原变种) yu li (yuan bian zhong)

Prunus japonica Thunberg in Murray, Syst. Veg. ed. 14, 463. 1784; Microcerasus japonica (Thunberg) M. Roemer.

Petiole 2–3 mm; leaf blade ovate to ovate-lanceolate, margin acutely incised biserrate. Pedicel 0.5–1 cm. Fl. May, fr. Jul–Aug.

Forests on mountain slopes, thickets, also cultivated; 100--200 m. Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Zhejiang [Japan, Korea].

This variety is used medicinally.
