Basionym: Malus baccata f. gracilis Rehder, J. Arnold Arbor. 2: 49. 1920.
Trees, small, 4–6 m tall. Branchlets pendulous. Leaf margin obtusely serrate. Flowers ca. 3 cm in diam. Styles 3 or 4.
Gansu, Shaanxi.
