Plants annual. Branchlets slender, glabrous. Leaves alternate; petiole 1-2 cm; leaf blade ovate, 5-8 × 2.5-3.5 cm, with stipitate basal glands or not, setose, lateral veins 6-8 pairs, base abruptly attenuate into petiole, margin crenulate, apex acuminate. Inflorescences in upper leaf axils, 3- or 4-flowered; peduncles ca. as long as petioles. Pedicels 5-6 mm, slender, bracteate at base; bracts lanceolate, 3-4 mm, membranous, apex acuminate. Flowers yellow, small, 1-1.5 cm deep. Lateral sepals 2, orbicular, ca. 5 mm in diam., 5-7-veined, midvein abaxially cuspidate. Lower sepal navicular, ca. 1.1 cm deep, base gradually narrowed into an involute spur; spur ca. 2 × as long as limb, stout; mouth vertical, tip acute. Upper petal reflexed, orbicular, apex obtuse or acute, abaxial midvein thickened, cristate at middle; lateral united petals not clawed, short, 2-lobed; basal lobes orbicular; distal lobes incurved, orbicular; auricle inflexed. Filaments linear, short; anthers acute. Capsule not seen. Fl. Aug.
