高坡凤仙花 gao po feng xian hua

Plants 20-30 cm tall, slender, glabrous. Stem erect, simple, basally long naked. Leaves alternate; petiole 1.5-2.5 cm; leaf blade ovate, 3-5 × 2-2.5 cm, lateral veins 5 or 6 pairs, base cuneate, attenuate into petiole, margin serrulate, teeth mucronulate, apex acuminate. Inflorescences in upper leaf axils, 1-flowered; peduncles 2-3 cm. Pedicels bracteate above middle; bracts linear-lanceolate, small, ca. 1.2 mm. Flowers yellow, ca. 1.5 cm wide. Lateral sepals 2, ovate or obliquely obovate-orbicular, 4-5 mm, inequilateral, 3-veined, apex cuspidate. Lower sepal navicular, ca. 1.1 cm deep, gradually narrowed into an incurved, then erect spur; spur ca. 2 cm, stout; mouth vertical, tip obtuse, mucronulate. Upper petal orbicular, ca. 1 cm in diam., apex retuse, abaxial midvein obtusely cornute below middle. Filaments linear; anthers acute. Capsule flexuose. Seeds 2, oblong, ca. 3 mm, tuberculate on one side. Fl. and fr. unknown.
