A genus of 17 species distributed in S.E. Europe, S.W. China and the Himalayas. Represented here by 3 species.


1 Flowers yellow. Stamen filaments c. half as long as the corolla lobes   Morina coulteriana
+ Flowers white to pinkish-white or pink. Stamen filaments shorter or as long as the corolla lobes   (2)
       
2 (1) Calyx lobes obovate, entire or emarginate. corolla white to pale pink. Filaments more or less equalling the corolla lobes   Morina persica
+ Calyx lobes 2-fid, acute or obtuse. Corolla white, turning pink. Filaments much shorter than the corolla lobes   Morina longifolia
