Plants perennial. Leaves 2-3-pinnate; segments linear or lanceolate to oblong or ovate. Rays 3 to numerous. Bracts and bractlets present or lacking. Flowers white or yellow. Fruit strongly dorsally compressed, oblong to ellipsoid; lateral ridges narrowly or broadly winged; dorsal and intermediate ridges slightly or not elevated, acute or obtuse; furrows 1-vittate. Inner seed face plane.
