    Very much like the previous species but homotrichous with short, branched (almost stellate) whitish hairs. Racemes often bracteate below, Flowers white; pedicel 4-5 mm long in fruit, ascending. Siliculae 6-14 mm long, c. 1.5 (-2) mm broad, linear-oblong or elliptic-lanceolate, flattened, ± hairy with minute, branched hairs, rarely glabrous; seeds 16-20 in each locule.

    Fl. Per.: June-Aug.

    Type: W. Himalaya, Royle (K, LIV).

    Distribution: Himalayas, C. and N. Asia, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

    Differs from the previous species by its indumentum, and it is possible that some forms of it may pass on to the previous species, or vice versa, due to hybridization. Draba nichanaica Schulz is a seedless form of this species, said to be a cross between this species and Draba lasiophylla.
