Ptychotis puberula
Annual, 10-35 cm tall, pubescent. Basal leaves undivided or trifoliate, ovate to cordate; upper leaves pinnatisect; segments linear to oval; puberulous; leaf bases sheathing. Bracts and bractlets lacking. Rays 5-12, pubescent. Flower pedicels filiform, pubescent. Petals white, outer surface puberulous. Fruit ovate, pubescent.
Type: “in Oriente circa Baghad, Olivier & Bruguiere”.
Distribution: Middle East, Central Asia, Afghanistan, W. Pakistan.
This species has only been collected from Chitral in W. Pakistan.
