Tradescantia barbata (D. Don) Spreng.Tradescantia radicans Royle
Scandent to suberect herb, often tufted and rooting below, 15-30(-45) cm long, almost glabrous to cobwebly pubescent. Leaves oblong to linear-lanceolate, 3-7.5 cm long, 3-7 mm broad, straight to curved, acute to acuminate. Flowers dark blue, in terminal or axillary clusters, subtended by longer spathes than those in the previous species. Capsules quadrate, usually 6-seeded; seeds c. l mm long, wrinkled, brown.
