A small, sparsely hispid, prostrate, diffusely branched annual, up to 15 cm long; very similar to the preceding species but anther appendages obovoid, violet, longer and broader than the anther lobes, leaves linear oblong (shorter and broader than in H. hispida).
Fl. Per.: March-August.
Syntypes: SE Persia (Kerman), E and SW Afghanistan (Ghazni, Kandahar) and Pakistan (Baluchistan).
Distribution: Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
