Shrub, young branches densely pilose. Leaves paripinnately compound, c. 2.5-5.2 cm long, pilose; leaflets 8-18, c. 5-11 mm long, elliptic-obovate, acute, truncate, retuse or mucronate, glabrous or pilose above, pilose below; stipules free, pilose. Flowers 2-4 in loose cluster. Pedicel up to 5 mm long, pilose. Calyx c. 1.2-1.3 cm long, densely pilose, teeth c. 6-6.5 mm long. Corolla yellow. Vexillum c. 2.0-2.6 cm long, slightly longer than the wing. Fruit c. 1.2-1.6 cm long, pilose, c. 10-seeded.

Holotype: Between Lapau and Poya (Upper Kunawar), 3000-3500 ft., Jacquemont 1695 (P), Type no. (K).
Distribution: Pakistan, Kashmir; India (N.Punjab).
