Phaca alpina Linn.Phaca frigida Linn.
Erect, c. 30-60 cm tall, glabrous. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 10-15 cm long; leaflets 9-15, 2-4 cm long, oblong, glabrescent above, sparsely pubescent below; stipules c. 1.2-2.4 cm long, free. Inflorescence an axillary pedunculate raceme. Pedicel c. 2-4.5 mm long, black pubescent. Calyx c. 9-10 mm long, appressly black pubescent, teeth c. 1 mm or less long. Corolla bright yellow. Vexillum c. 18-20 mm long, longer than wings and keel, glabrous. Fruit c. 2.5-2.6 cm long, pubescent, unilocular, c. 6-8-seeded, stiped.
